LCO Enterprises Ltd (trading as Laura Orchant) was set up in 2012 by Laura Orchant and Rebecca Lewis. Laura is a young British designer and Rebecca is an experienced and successful entrepreneur.
The initial focus of the business was scarves – at that point, some of the London department stores had already shown interest in her scarf designs and the main drive for sales was their domestic UK market. Working with department stores and independent boutiques, they offered 2 scarf collections per year.
Laura’s designs are instantly recognisable and unique. Feminine, vibrant and colourful, Laura uses nature as her inspiration and her designs are full of flowers, trees, birds and all other manner of flora and fauna. She starts by hand-drawing her subject and then digitally manipulates the image and layers it to make a fractal collage. Every item is a work of art.
In 2016, Laura Orchant launched a capsule womenswear collection which has been well received by their customers.
Quality is a key factor in the products that Laura Orchant offer. Luxurious Italian silks and blended fabrics are carefully selected and then designed and finished with the utmost care in the UK and Italy.
In 2015 Laura was asked to design scarves for the merchandising of the Rolling Stones Exhibitionism show, which started in London at the Saatchi gallery in London and is currently touring around the USA and will soon be moving to Asia and Australia. As a result of the success of that collaboration, Laura has been asked to design scarves for other globally recognised music groups which will be released later in 2017.
Now the business is ready for international exposure and is delighted to present the SS18 collection of scarves and womenswear to buyers around the world. Women love wearing the Laura Orchant scarves and clothing and the business is committed to providing colourful and playful prints, providing a beautiful and unique alternative to the block colours and dark tones that many other designers offer.
